The Hike:

What is the Surrey Three Peaks?

Encompassing the summits of Leith, Holmbury and Box hills, with a total distance of just over 17 miles and 2500ft ascent, the Surrey Three Peaks is a more approachable alternative to the National three peaks or its Yorkshire equivalent. Don’t be deceived by the lack of mountainous terrain found in Surrey – when you climb up Box Hill steps after 24km, you’ll definitely be feeling the burn

Each peak provides beautiful views over the surrounding counties and Downland, with their own rich history, flora and fauna. The Surrey Three Peaks route passes through uneven woodland, pasture and farmland terrain that can be boggy underfoot.
