What we're about

This group is for those who love getting getting out into the great outdoors to capture, learn and improve their photography. It is for active people who want to learn more and improve their landscape, travel and adventure photography.
I started this group to share this passion; and to teach and lead walks and workshops in great local locations and as well as across the UK and beyond; from the Autumn I will be hosting informal "Pictures and Pints" evenings to get those interested in photography together to learn and inspire each other through sharing and discussing our images over a drink. I will also be running weekend and longer photo workshops in great locations.

I have been running photography workshops for over 10 years and have won competitions for my photography, been featured at Getty Images Gallery in London and have had a couple of exhibitions.

PICTURES & PINTS (or drinks of your choice!)

The Boileroom Music and Cultural Arts Venue

This is a new monthly informal community event to encourage photographers to share their photographs and discuss ideas over a drink. Please bring some of your best (and disappointing) images with you, we will project the images for the group to see, we discuss the images and techniques used so that we can all be inspired and learn from each other. I will also be giving tips on technique and composition through the evening. This community event is open to all those interested in photography at all levels with any type of camera, is is not a competition but is to encourage those with a love and interest in photography. The event will be at the Boileroom in Guildford, where drinks and pizza are available during the evening.
