Agile Principles Series: "Agile processes promote sustainable development"

Join us as we continue our exploration of the principles behind the Agile Manifesto with "Agile processes promote sustainable development."

Our guest facilitator for this session is group member Steve Young. Steve has almost 30 years of iterative development experience, and is currently an Agile Transformation Consultant helping Sears Holdings Mobile Group become Agile. He will be leading a lively conversation on this principle that promises to give you some great new insights into what exactly sustainable development is, and how to achieve it.

This was an interesting discussion. It was just about what I expected right up until halfway through the session, at which point the discussion turned to innovation in the agile organization. This was a welcome divergence as it touched on a subject that I don't hear discussed very often, and which is very relevant to my work (my organization hasn't formally looked at how to innovate within the development department). I came away from the discussion with some interesting ideas. Thanks!

Thank you to all that attended. We had a good time. I learned a few things. I hope you did too. I posted the slides for this meet-up in the files section of the Meet-up site.
