Hi Everybody,

Just wanted to let you know about an upcoming event, Agile Day Chicago, on Friday, October 11th at Willis Tower. The event is not-for-profit, with a goal of building the agile community in Chicago. There will be local and national speakers, as well as other collaborative sessions. David Hussman will be giving the opening talk. I've provided some additional details below.

Agile Day Chicago – 2013

Event Site:

Agile Day Chicago is an extension of Agile Day Twin Cities, a one day conference which is by practitioners and for practitioners. The conference is a not for profit event with a primary goal of providing a forum for agile practitioners in the Chicago area to come together for a day, share their experiences, challenge the status quo and learn from others.

The theme this year speaks to the need to help teams succeed using agile methods while also allowing lasting agility to grow within and across organizations. Sessions will speak to using agile methods within teams (projects), across teams (programs) and outside teams (portfolios). For many larger organizations using agile methods, challenges that cut across teams and backlogs and iterations are the most challenging.
