AGM & Decentralising leadership: a story of Holacracy in practice

Hope you can attend this month’s Agile Auckland event. We will have a quick Annual General Meeting (AGM) where you can meet the committee members who will share Agile Auckland's current position and purpose. Please get in touch with us if you would like to nominate yourself or if you are interested in joining the committee. We promise it won't be boring!

In her session ‘Decentralising leadership: a story of Holacracy in practice’ Sandy will share her story of implementing Holacracy at a New Zealand tech company, whose CTO gave her a one-line instruction: “I’d like you to make it happen.”

In her talk, which recently premiered at Spark the Change in Melbourne, Sandy will share how Snapper created a truly self-organising organisation where everyone is empowered to make decisions. She will share her successes and failures and talk about what worked and what didn’t.

Little bit about Sandy

Sandy Mamoli is an Agile coach at Nomad8, a small Agile consultancy in Auckland and Wellington. She's a former Olympian, a geek, a gadget junkie, international speaker and author of "Creating Great Teams - How Self-Selection Lets People Excel". She has a masters degree in artificial intelligence and knows quite a lot about Agile.

Look forward to seeing you all then...
