Why did you want to join up to the Agile Auckland group?

Learning never ends. I feel like, I am still new to this Domain. I want to be with like-minded people. I want to learn from experienced people.

What areas of Agile do you work / participate or are interested in?

I am a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance. Before that, I was working as an Analyst Software Developer. But Agile/Scrum change my way of look at the things. I decided and talked with my management that I want to implement SCRUM in our team and journey begins... Day by day I learn more about people, their way of doing things, their involvement and struggles at work, Technical/behavioural blockers, Different Expectation among the higher management, How to work around with Management & Team etc... I mean keep on doing improvement to make things better and better. I am interested to learn from experienced seniors from this group. I think this a place where I can meet my Mentor/s.

What has impacted you most when you think about Agile software development?

Making things better towards achieving goals faster with transparency. Isn’t it great that Agile focus on Improvement and teach ways/flexibility/skills to adapt changes? : ) I encounter first time in detail about agile from a book called “Scrum: The Art of Doing Twice the Work in Half the Time”. And wow so amazing, I realised that if we change the way of doing things differently then we can change entire life & organisation. I felt we were missing many values. For me, I think words are less to describe the impact of SCRUM in my thoughts, behaviour and approach towards the life and work. :)
