Since 2001, when the Manifesto for Agile Software Development was published, the Agile community has evolved — and exploded! And all through the evolution of the Agile community, the effect of empiricism is apparent. Individuals and collectives are continuously inspecting their circumstance and adapting their practices, goals, and values. It’s been a remarkable journey. Let’s reflect on a few key moments from our community’s past to better understand, with the benefit of hindsight, modern Agility and our possible futures.
About the Speaker
David works to improve the profession of software delivery. He helps organizations deliver products of the highest possible quality and value.
His career highlights the intersection of business, technology, fine art, and education. With his broad experience, he helps organizations and teams understand agility at all levels: practice and delivery, leadership and stewardship, organizational design and culture.
David is a Professional Scrum Trainer licensed by Scrum.org, Agile Business Consultant, Product Expert, Technical Coach and Software Engineer, Public Speaker, Executive Director of Ontario Scrum Community®, TEDx Alumnus, Musician, Husband and Dad. David works primarily in the Toronto area.
