Agile Humans Meetup #40 What Do You Do for Living?

Details
Welcome to our 40th meetup! We are looking forward to December 2. Get ready for a stimulating conversation and for a topic that is important for both our business and personal lives. We are eager to discuss this topic thoroughly; as it is what completes us as humans, and what makes us feel like a whole self.
Since we were prevented from sharing great, valuable gifts with you during our 39th meetup due to technical difficulties, this time, at our 40th meetup, we will do so using an online wheel of fortune. We will share five books by Lyssa Adkins, "Coaching Agile Teams," a free flamenco course for two, and a free Certified Agile and Scrum Practitioner (CASP) training for two.
We are excited to see you all very soon!
WHAT DO YOU DO FOR LIVING?
A short, interactive workshop to explore the whole self
“What do you do for a living?" No doubt we've all asked and answered this question many times. It's deceptive, though. What the question is really asking is, "What do you do for an income?"
The question is concerned with assessing a person's worth and has little to do with Living, little to do with the joy of life, with love, family, friendship, hopes, dreams, big ideas, and the many trials and tribulations that make us who we are. This session will focus on a slightly altered version of that question: What do you do for Living?
Working in small groups, from speaker prompts, the participants will craft a personal “Whole Person” statement in response to this altered question, something perhaps to use at the next awkward social event you find yourself at.
Wholeness is one of the three guiding principles identified by Frederic Laloux in his work, Reinventing Organizations, as essential for a healthy, living, evolving system, the other two being self-management and evolutionary purpose.
