Imagine you are the CTO of a Company that has acquired 24 companies in less than 2 years, and have no intention of slowing down. You are blessed to have a team of smart, passionate people from different companies but they have different views on developing software. How would you Scale Scrum in a way that creates consistency without constraining the autonomy and creativity of teams? How would you help leaders scale their knowledge by coaching and mentoring new team members? How would you create transparency through Information Radiators that extract and visualize information from multi-vendor systems of truth? How would you educate teams in new ways of thinking, without pulling them away to attend 2 day training sessions?

Join us to learn how this CTO used Scrum as a key part of his scaling strategy using Nexus+ and Evidence Based Management. We will share real-world experiences from this roller-coaster ride, which sometimes felt like changing the engines on a plane while it's in flight. We will describe the challenges, work-arounds, celebrations and frustrations of Scaling Scrum in a fast-paced environment and extract some insights that you might find valuable in your journey.

We will share how we trained a distributed team in short, bite-sized chunks. How we enabled an Agile Community of Practice and how we integrated tools like AHA!, Jira, Confluence, SalesForce.com, Periscope & Slack to enable meaningful interactions between inspired individuals. By the end of the session, you will walk away with actionable insights and references that you can apply in your Agile journey.
