Collaboration Explained by Jean Tabaka, Book Club Discussion (4 parts)

Details

Please join us for our four planned meetings to discuss Collaboration Explained: Facilitation Skills for Software Project Leaders, by Jean Tabaka.
The book is divided into four parts, so we will have four planned discussions to break this out into manageable pieces.

Part 1: July 28 : Setting the Collaborative Context
Part 2: August 4 : Applying Collaboration
Part 3: August 11 : Extending Collaboration
Part 4: August 18 : Collaborative Facilitation Guides, and Summary. Helpful things we learned along the way!

"To succeed, an agile project demands outstanding collaboration among all its stakeholders. But great collaboration doesn’t happen by itself; it must be carefully planned and facilitated throughout the entire project lifecycle. Collaboration Explained is the first book to bring together proven, start-to-finish techniques for ensuring effective collaboration in any agile software project."

Please take some time prior to this meeting to acquire and read this book, so we can have interactive and fun discussions. This meeting will just be one hour long. As our group matures we can inspect and adapt to decide what works, what doesn’t, if we like longer meetings, and refine our format. Join us now, and help us become the book club that you enjoy and help it become what you want or need for agile and leadership inspiration.

Additional Notes:
ZOOM: Meeting will be held with Zoom, Meetup will display zoom info to members that RSVP yes.
