with Natalie ColeSoftware Quality Engineering is a crucial phase in Software Engineering.
A few years ago, Natalie Cole and other software quality professionals transformed quality engineering after a major reorganization at their organization. The reorg left engineering teams without dedicated quality roles, which led to a surge in production defects due to engineers testing their own code.
Cole led a team of QEs and QAs to form the Quality Advisory Team aiming to alleviate this issue. The team's mission was to assess the practices of each engineering team, identify improvement areas, and collaborate with engineering teams to implement a high-functioning quality capabilities team, with standardized quality processes and optimal technology. The team built a culture of quality from the ground up across the entire technology department.Join Natalie Cole as she dives deep into building a culture of quality, which in turn led to better-performing teams and delivering applications of excellent quality.
