Agile on Tap - Its back!

Details
Sorry it’s been awhile but we are back! We have had a small break and managed to get a small team of people together to help out with organising Agile Peterborough events.
We want to aim to bring you events every couple of months and we want to start with this one to kick things off.
We are super excited to book two great speakers and also back at our new venue Eden @ The Solstice. (Look out for signs in the beer garden)
If you want to come along for a drink, prizes and to learn some awesome things come along to our event.
Spaces are limited (due to venue) so make sure you RSVP if you like to come.

Speaker – Alex Ellis
Title - Docker and IoT: securing the server-room with realtime microservices
Synopsis - Join us at Agile on Tap for an evening with Docker Captain @alexellisuk (https://twitter.com/alexellisuk). He will bring his talk and demo as delivered in front of an audience at Dockercon 2016 in Seattle earlier this year. In the demo we secure a data-center through a scaleable network of real-time sensors and microservices running within Docker. Sensors are attached to server racks and each one constantly samples the ambient temperature of the rack and sends a real-time alarm to the control room when levels rise above normal levels. An anti-tamper motion sensor picks up tiny vibrations and alerts the admins when someone is performing unscheduled maintenance on the equipment. A custom made RGB LED display manufactured by @pimoroni (https://twitter.com/pimoroni)for Dockercon shows the status of up to 8 racks in real-time.
Bio - Alex Ellis is a Software Engineer at ADP and in his spare time: a Docker Captain and technical writer for Linux User Magazine.
