What we're about

We are a collaborative forum for leveraging Agile to discover and deliver better products, sooner.

Together, we share ways Agile principles and practices enable us to increase our capacity to deliver products that please our customers, satisfy our business sponsors, build collaborative development communities, and change the world through great products that matter.

All our meetups use collaborative techniques to engage, energize, and enlighten. Our annual APO Conference is powered using Open Space Technology.

We invite you to join us!

Together, we will share ways to collaborate and engage across product teams within a company so we can develop the products customers want, need and love. The Agile Manifesto identifies individuals and interactions as one of the four core values, along with business people and developers must work together daily as one of the twelve Agile principles. But how can we truly engage within our internal teams to best serve our customers? Let’s come together to discover techniques that work. Our Agile Product Open is a volunteer-led event. Together we set the agenda, exchange as peers, build our network, and engage in deep peer-to-peer learning. Whether you’re new to Agile concepts or experienced, this day will renew your energy and passion for product development. Meet your peers to share challenges and solutions. Benefits of Attending: * Learn tools, techniques, practices you can apply right away * Form and extend your network of product colleagues * Learn ways to build and sustain a customer-focused product mindset * Discover ways to collaborate effectively across internal teams * Identify how to create alignment with engineering/dev teams * Challenge your thinking as a product leader We will gather in Boston, Massachusetts near the Public Garden for a full day of collaborative sharing, learning, and skill building. Topics We Might Explore: What happens on that day will be determined by us through the process of Open Space. Here are some topics that might be proposed related to our theme: * Importance of regularly sharing key customer and market details across departments and from all field teams * Aligning product roadmap with marketing planning * Sharing product information in a timely manner with product marketing for input into white papers, product launches, campaigns and social postings * Tools for engaging and aligning the organization with product planning * Is there one process for each type of product line across teams that create, design, promote and sell the product?
