We will experience more about Team Growing (Teamleren in Dutch), the lean-agile approach to change, developed by Linda Dorlandt and Remi-Armand Collaris and presented in their book ‘Praktisch op weg naar Teamresultaat’. Team Growing uses lean-agile practices to introduce the lean-agile way of working to teams. We change by using the methods of the future, not of the present.

Many teams succeed in introducing Scrum and achieve improvement. But when doing the Retrospective of Sprint 40, the fizz has gone off somewhat. The team stops learning new stuff and may slowly revert to the old practices. The energy we felt is also slowly ebbing away.
With Team Growing, we keep improving the team and make it stronger. Working in such a team gives energy and focus, so that we can keep on improving and getting energy from our work instead of having to invest in it.

Team Growing consists of many coaching practices and lean-agile games or workshops that help teams provide insight in their current situation and generates ideas on how to tackle problems and improve the way of working. During this Meetup, Linda and Remi-Armand will demonstrate this fascinating approach to lean-agile coaching and team learning with a couple of workshops from their book.
