What we're about

Drawn by the promise of increased speed, higher quality, happier customers, and a more engaged workforce, companies of all sizes are turning to scrum, kanban, and other agile methods to manage their work.

Agile in Action is a community of agile students, teachers, and practitioners who meet for two types of sessions:

1) Agile Activities - hands-on immersive learning activities and exercises that develop an agile mindset and prepare us (as agile coaches & educators) to bring agile methods to our teams and organizations.

2) Field Reports - experience reports of real-world, pragmatic applications of agile methods that show us what “good Agile” looks like in action.

Any given meetup session will focus on one of these two types of sessions. Our simple motto is "We learn by doing!". Through experiential activities, we learn Agile first-hand. Through field reports we learn through what others have done.

If you want to have fun learning, build skills, and gain practical tools and techniques that you can apply on your agile projects and programs, then this meetup is for you!

Suitable for Agile practitioners of all experience levels in any domain (marketing, sales, IT, product development, etc.), these dynamic, informative sessions will connect you to colleagues, resources, and tools that enable you to increase agility in yourself and others.

Agile in Action MeetUp Policy:

• No email solicitation offering services from our members is allowed. Please be respectful of their information and the purpose of this group.
