Durham Local Food and Farmer Networking

Details
What an appropriate day to try for our second MeetUp. Our inaugural MeetUp was a bit wet, but it was great meeting new people and chatting about food and farming.
With our current weather, I am going to host this one online over Zoom. Let us celebrate whatever the groundhog sees, because we know spring is just around the corner.
What is the group about:
Building community around food and agriculture is an important step along the path to a resilient sustainable food system. We want to create a space for informal networking among those who grow, raise, and produce food within Durham for the community. Making connections to both commiserate and collaborate over feeding the body mind and soul.
Often solutions to a problem encountered by one has been solved by another. Use this group to gather and relax, talk shop...or what your hopes for the future are, or whatever comes to mind.
The plan is The format will be informal, but occasionally there might be someone we bring in to present on possible solutions to collective problems. But our promise is always to keep these below 20 minutes to leave the main amount of time for chatting and gathering.
We look forward to gathering with you (safely and warmly online).
Zoom link to event will be provided on the day of event to all who RSVP.
