Code Maktaba : Data Wrangling in R 2.0

The 4th Code Maktaba event will be focussed on workings of control structures and related functions.
This event will be a continuation of the past event that was an introduction to Data wrangling in R.
Code Maktaba is a hands-on training event series aimed at building and improving technical skills of Ai Kenya community members.
Africa R is a consortium of passionate Africa R user groups and users innovating with R every day, and are inspired to share their experience as well as communicate their findings to a global audience. As a community, our mission is to achieve improved representation by encouraging, inspiring, and empowering the African population of all genders who are underrepresented in the global R community.
The previous meetup (1.0) focused on the:-
> The principles of data subsetting (the base R way)
> The principles of data subsetting (the tidyverse way)
At the end of the Data Wrangling 2.0 meetup, attendees will be able to:
> Understand and use the 2 primary tools of control flow.
> Implement the use of functions to reduce duplication in their code.
> Be familiar with base R useful functions for data wrangling.
Who is this training for? :
Beginner and Intermediate level programmers in R.
Expert programmers are also welcome to help assist in the training.
About the trainer.
Fridah Wanjala is currently working as a data scientist at M-Kopa Solar where she supports the business by conducting analytics that helps make data-driven decisions. An avid R user, she has heavily been involved in training different organizations and individuals in data analysis tools, data management and analysis.
What is needed?

> readr
> readxl
> purrr
> rplyr

9.00am - 9.30am : Event Check-in
9.30am - 9:50 am: Event kickoff by Alfred Ongere, Ai Kenya
9.50am - 12.40 pm: Training led by Fridah Wanjala
12:40 pm - 1.00pm: Networking and close of event.
Carry your ID/Passport for identification at the building.
