Jacob "Jake" M. Ward will do an Intellectual Property Q & A session for this months meeting. Get answers to questions such as "What is a provisional patent?" "Should I get one?" "Do you need an attorney to get a trademark?" "What is a trade secret?" "Do I need to get a patent on my invention?" "What about copyright?"
Jake is a registered patent attorney. He is the Founding Member with the Law firm of Ward Law Office LLC in Tiffin, Ohio. He is also the founding author of the legal blog "Anticipate This!" Jake is also an adjunct professor at the University of Toledo, College of Law. He speaks throughout the state on a variety of intellectual property topics including several visits to our club!
