James O. Wilson, Assistant Regional Director of the Elijah J. McCoy Midwest Regional Office, United States Patent and Trademark Office will present a program on how intellectual property plays a role in advancing your business through patents, trademarks, copyrights and trade secrets. The program will also look at advanced topics in patents including the patent process, international considerations, and micro- and small-entity status for inventors and business.
Mr. Wilson has over 25 years experience working for the United States Patent and Trademark Office, working as a patent examiner in several areas, as an instructor in the Office of Patent Training and working with the Office of the Commissioner for Patents.
