Building a VR/AR Future in the Classroom w/ David Ternent from Stow City Schools
Details
The Akron VR Meetup is excited to welcome David Ternent, a 7th grade STEM teacher at Kimpton Middle School in the Stow-Munroe Falls City School District. He's been teaching for 20+ years in High School and Middle School Science, and for the past 5 years, STEM. In his STEM class, they always have a variety of projects going on...from robotics, Rube Goldberg machines, coding, 3D modeling and printing, testing of prototypes, and just recently, VR, AR, and 360 cameras/content that is student created. He is always trying to find tools to prepare his students for what their workplace WILL BE like, not what is here now.
