Medicine Buddha Empowerment

Akshobya Kadampa Buddhist Centre

CA$65.00

We have the power to heal ourselves. Within our body and mind lies an extraordinary potential which can be activated and cultivated through meditations taught by Buddha. Additionally, when the world is pervaded by problems and dangers due to uncontrolled minds and negative actions, one of the most important practices is that of Medicine Buddha.

Who is Medicine Buddha?
Medicine Buddha is an enlightened being who can help us become free from heavy physical and mental sickness and other dangers. He has the power to purify our mind of the three poisons–anger, uncontrolled desire, and ignorance–the source of all sickness and danger. He is a Buddha Doctor.

What is the Medicine Buddha Empowerment?
The empowerment is a sequence of teachings and meditations through which we receive a special power of body, speech, and mind–the blessings of Medicine Buddha. We also receive instructions on the practice of Medicine Buddha so that we can build upon the blessings of empowerment and develop the actual power to heal ourselves and others.

Everybody is welcome!
