Come join the Friends of the Pine Bush Community as we explore a globally rare ecosystem right here in the Capital District! This group is for anyone interested in local environmental conservation, outdoor recreation, and learning new things. Our gatherings range from volunteering in the preserve to hikes, bike rides, and more! Meet-up with us to enjoy socializing with others who enjoy the Albany Pine Bush Preserve.

Saturday on the Six Mile Waterworks
Six Mile Waterworks, 135 Fuller Rd, Albany, NY, USJoin the Friends of the Pine Bush Community for an afternoon hike along the 6 Mile Waterworks!
We’ll meet at Trailhead #3 to hike at Six Mile Waterworks and do the Rapp Barrens loop, around 2.7 miles.
This is a great opportunity for people who are working toward completing the 20 Mile Challenge.
