We'll have Chris Janiszewski from RedHat presenting -- the abstract is below:
"Welcome to the magical school of Triple-O where impossibilities are not only possible, but a reality! Upgrade from Mitaka to Newton? Sure, we can do that and YOU can too! Let us show you the value of TripleO Magic! In place upgrades is only one item in our bag of tricks (that can be YOUR bag of tricks too!) Come join us while we show you how to conjure a rock solid OpenStack environment that has continuous validations running to ensure stability throughout the entire lifecycle of that cloud even THROUGH your in-place upgrade! This isn't a cookie cutter deployment either! Customizations abound! The reference architecture not working for you? Use your magic wand to create custom composable roles and deploy YOUR cloud YOUR way!"
More about Chris:
"I work as a OpenStack Solution Architect at Red Hat. What does that mean? I help Red Hat customers validate business and technical use cases on OpenStack with supporting components like storage, networking or cloud automation and management. Managing large amount of hardware is definitely my cup of tea. I am more of the yum/dnf guy then apt, but I have used both for quite some time. I am a father of 2 little kids and I enjoy most of my free time playing with them. When kids are asleep I get my geek hat on and build OpenStack home lab. I can get 2GB/s throughput from my hyperconverged Ceph nodes at home .. can you beat me?"
