Stress is a wonderful indicator telling us that we are believing in a thought that isn't true. Next time you feel that discomfort, notice what thought preceded it.

Once we notice what these thoughts are, we can inquire into their truth through the process of "the work". This allows us to see clearly where we are not thinking straight, where we are hurting ourselves by believing our thoughts.

This process is essential for clarity and peace of mind. Once we inquire into our stressful, these thoughts "leave us". We are left with a mind unconcerned with stressful thoughts, free and open. Events of the past no longer antagonize us.

The stressful physiology leaves us and peace and clarity pour in, like a tall glass of water. In those unfettered moments we rejoice in the present moment and develop true compassion for ourselves and others. Life becomes a little more sparkly, sweeter.

During our session, we will review the basics of inquiry and practice.

Bring a friend, a pen, an open mind and a healthy snack to share.
