What we're about
This is an international group for lovers of walking, who want to be in the great outdoors, and discovering more of the Western Algarve. (Silves to Sagres ,and Monchique to Aljazur) Event season - year round, except July / August.
Walking and talking it is - so networking and making new friends
Non members always welcome too, as guests. Residents or visitors
Group for adults, provided you are reasonably fit to walk ( not stroll) up to 3 hours. As this is a voluntary association,you are entirely responsible for your own health and safety.
Cost contribution of Euro 3pp per event. This pays for an interactive website, App, promotional material, occasional adverts , and motoring - including reconnaissance trips.A monthly donation Event is held for a local charity,in the areas where we are active.

Lovely and varied 3 hours cliff walk.
Drive to the old town from the N125. Just before you get there, turn off right onto gravel parking area known as the Portimao viewpoint (Punto Panoramico Portimao in Google Maps). See map attached. The entrance is not very obvious, but is immediately after the recycle bins
Coffee stop on the return leg, and a number of good restaurants at walk's end.
You participate entirely at your own risk. You should be fit to walk ( not stroll) for the duration. Bring water.

Lovely walk from Bensafrim town centre. 2.5 hours
Find at the western end of the A22 motorway. Large gravel parking area off the main street at the market / cafe / pharmacy ( see map)
You should have a reasonable level of fitness to walk (not stroll) and have sensible footwear.Bring water. Any doubts, please ask me.
As this is a voluntary association, this event is undertaken entirely at your own risk.
