All Dogs Welcome - Socialization and Training

Cost is $150 per dog for the 4 week class.

Does your dog have too much energy? Are they always climbing or jumping up onto anything and everything? Or maybe they are nervous and sensitive about the world around them. This intro to agility class is a great way to drain your dog’s energy, build their confidence, and have tons of fun. In this class we will go over each obstacle and get you and your dog used to running the course. By the end of the 4 weeks you and your dog will be moving through the course with little or no leash help. Class size is set at 8 dogs so that all dogs have enough time to learn the obstacles.

If you are struggling to drain your dog's mental energy, or want to give them something fun to focus on, this class might be a great fit!

This class will cover the following basic agility obstacles:

Table
A-Frame
Dog walk
Weave polls
Jumps
Tunnels
Teeter totter

By the end of the four weeks, you and your dog should be running the course.

One dog per handler. If you have a second dog, you will need a second handler. Please add as a guest and let us know.

Please read the entire description before signing up. MUST COMPLETE THE “DOG SOCIAL PREP CLASS” BEFORE YOU WILL BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND THIS WEEKLY SOCIAL. This activity ($10 per dog) is a structured “dog park” activity where your dog will meet and play with other dogs in an off-leash setting.

If you have not completed the Prep Class, you will not be allowed to attend this event. If you have already completed the Prep Class, then you can attend this activity without signing up.

The cost is $225 per dog for the 6 week class.

Please read the entire description before signing up. THIS CLASS IS THE PREREQUISITE FOR THE WEEKLY DOG PARK SOCIAL ACTIVITY. ONE dog per handler--if you have more than 1 dog, there needs to be a 2nd handler (mark as a guest and let us know). $225 PER dog. There is a $100 deposit to hold your place in the class. The payment is due within 48 hours of your RSVP, otherwise you will removed from the "attending" list. Please pay using Zelle (phone number is 408 482 5956). The remaining balance will be completed at the first class. Class runs for 6 weeks. You must complete at least 4 of the 6 classes to qualify for the Dog Park Socials. No one under the age of 14 allowed. 14 to 17 must have an adult present at all times. Exceptions can be made--contact Sean.

A social dog is a happy dog. Unfortunately, it’s become very difficult these days to find the right way to get your dog the socialization they need. Dog parks are chaotic and can be dangerous. Many doggy day care centers allow dogs to play at too high a level of excitement which can build their stamina and endurance and teach them that any dog they see means excitement.

Fortunately, there is another option, and all dogs are welcome. This 6-week social prep class will go over all the skills you and your dog will need to participate in the weekly Dog Park Social activity. During each Prep Class we will go over how to get your dog to meet other dogs in a calm and polite way, how to read dog body language so you can tell if the other dogs want to meet your dog, how to protect your dog’s space if they are nervous or afraid, and also how to calm your dog down in this exciting environment.

This class is open to all dogs, including aggressive dogs. Any dog determined to be an aggressive dog will be required to wear a muzzle during the class. Dogs who show dog aggression are almost always nervous or fearful and need a safe and structured social environment where they can learn that other dogs are not an automatic danger.
This is a place where every dog can find help, and every dog's safety is the first priority. There are a limited number of spaces for each Prep Class depending on the age and size of dog.
