What we're about

Please be aware this event is intended for real estate investors and landlords, not real estate industry professionals.

Anybody interested in learning about relevant Real Estate topics: How to Analyze a Property the Right Way, Understanding Real Estate loans, SF rent control laws and eviction, How Air B & B works, First-Time Home Buying, Becoming a competitive Buyer, Estate Planning, 1031 Tax-Deferred Exchange, Title company role/ How to take Title, Tips on Getting your Offer Accepted, Analyzign Rental Properties, etc you came to the right meetup. Basically, every topic of interest to a real estate investor will be offered at our free, always on Tuesday's meetings. We keep our lectures under one hour and we invite you to stay afterward for Q & A, meet other investors, compare notes, find business partners and have a great time. Who said real estate investors are boring? Work, work without fun is no good.

After 30 years in the business, I've noticed that the number #1 reason people procrastinate buying is lack of knowledge, more than lack of downpayment. This meetup may become the bridge that takes you there. Even if you are not a First-Time Buyer, half of you will be property owners or landlords, real estate has changed in the last years. It's much more regulated, sophisticated, more disclosures, new loan procedures, competitive and professional.

Our lively Tuesday lectures are held at my office. They will provide EDUCATION and KNOWLEDGE to anyone interested in learning about Real Estate in a fun, relaxed and interactive evening. When I am not the guest speaker you will learn from other professionals in the field with decades of experience.

You are not alone. I want to see you succeed!

About Marilyn Ines Rodriguez / Organizer & Speaker

Real Estate Broker in California since 1986. I graduated from SFSU with a Bachelor's degree in Business Marketing and Finance. Having sold hundreds of transactions from single family homes, condos, business opportunities, and multi-units I am an experienced negotiator and real estate professional.

I have a passion for teaching and empowering people, that's why I started this meetup.

Whether you're a new client, a first-time buyer, or repeat business I am committed to helping you through the process. Most of my business comes from referrals so I make sure to provide you with the highest level of service, daily contact, and transparency. Earning your trust, negotiating the best price and terms, and minimizing your liabilites are my priority, making it easy for you to refer your friends and family to me.

Working with me means you will be supported by a highly professional team making sure all your real estate needs are taken care off. My team has various experience Mortgage Brokers, a veteran Tittle officer, two fabulous home staggers, a veteran Licensed Contractor, and Handyman. Each team member has a minimum of 10+ years of experience.

I moved to SF in 1976, which I now consider my home. Having lived in 3 continents I have first-hand understanding and knowledge of our culturally diverse City. For fun, I teach classical sculpture classes to adults and occasionally at Waldorf High School because I enjoy teaching young adults. I am the author of an award-winning book, "An Artist's Guide to Proportions and Measurements of the Skeletal System". Art brings balance to my life!

I have a mini-schnauzer, Oliver, who I take for daily walks at Stern Grove and around Lake Merced. To keep in physical shape I swim regularly in Pacifica.

I am fluent in English, Spanish and conversational Italian.
