This Rhine River & Swiss Alps itinerary features 3 Nights in Lake Como & 1 Night in Lucerne, plus the 8-Day Luxury Northbound River Cruise from Basel, Switzerland to Amsterdam, Holland. This wonderful trip visits 5 different countries (Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, Holland). Additionally, for this itinerary you will be flying into the Milan Airport in Italy to begin your adventure, so you may also choose to spend a couple of pre-days in Milan. Your Lake Como and Lucerne hotels should be Superior Class rated in both cities and will include daily breakfast.
You will then board the Avalon Waterways luxurious small ship (the Envision) for 8-Days sailing along the legendary Rhine River through 4 countries (Switzerland, Germany, France, Holland). For those who can't get away for the complete 12-Day Cruise Tour Package, you may opt to purchase just the 8-Day Luxury European Cruise portion only.
You will cruise aboard the Avalon Waterways luxurious small ship (the Envision) for 8-Days sailing along the legendary Rhine River through 4 countries (Switzerland, Germany, France, Holland). Your cruise itinerary will feature Basel, The Black Forest, Strasbourg (France), Heidelberg, The Rhine Gorge, Koblenz, Cologne, an overnight stay in Amsterdam, and much more... You may also choose to extend your vacation by staying pre-nights in Basil, Switzerland or post-nights in Amsterdam, Holland.
For the group, we are currently holding a mix of Balcony and Ocean View Staterooms for both the cruise and cruise tour. However, River Cruise Ships are small so space is always quite limited and available on a first come first served basis.
