What we're about

If you're like me, at least once or twice a month, you probably think to yourself, "I want to get dressed up & get out the house...but I DON'T want to go to the club". Then you inevitably come to the sad conclusion... there's nothing else to do!

Think again! In Miami/Broward there's ALWAYS something to do, I'll help you find it! Join me as I bring you events to meet other singles, couples & business owners.

This group will focus on events & outings catered towards the 25 - 45 age group, but socialites of all ages are more than welcome to join!!

🐱 Volunteer Give Back to the Community at No Kill Kitty Shelter in Oakland Park

We had a great group come and help out last time. The volunteers at Beyond Nine got so much done with our help. Stuff that normally doesn't get done so we are going back to lend a hand. Guys the adoption center manager Sharon is an amazing lady she is also one of the founders of Beyond 9 and has kept her mission going despite a million obstacles especially financial ones. I cannot even tell you how many times she came to my rescue when I found kittens or cats in need. Whether it was helping pay off hefty vet bills to save PUFFY, taking kitties in for adoption like Snowball a white kitten living on the street (her ears were sunburned) and especially taking in kittens in need of bottle feeding which she personally does all the time. In case you don't know young kittens need to be bottle fed around the clock every 3 hours like human babies. She and her volunteers run 3 sucessful shelters even a cat sanctuary also in Oakland Park and there is always a shortage of helping hands. She runs her own tax business and still manages to find the time to medicate, clean, feed, bottle feed, do adoptions, file paperwork, buy supplies, manage volunteers and the million things her mission of love entails. She is thrilled to have us come and lend a hand. I can't wait!! Did you know there is an estimated 350,000 outdoor cats in Broward and Miami alone most are not fixed yet so this is why we find so many kittens in need. If anyone needs to neuter your neighborhood's cats let me know I can show you how even loan you the humane traps. This local no-kill kitty rescue group Beyond Nine does so much for the community it will be nice to lend them a hand. They run a kitty sanctuary and multiple adoption sites in Broward. They have a ton of work to do every day from laundry to feeding and much more. Petting, brushing and playing with the kitties will be also help since the kitties need attention but they often don't get it. Of course cleaning, scrubbing and scooping too! They are a non for profit run solely by volunteers and they don't have enough help. Their adoption center is in Oakland Park and we are going every 3rd Saturday of the month from 1 to 4 PM. Even if you only have 1 hour to spare any help will be greatly appreciated. See you there! And be ready to pet, brush or play with a kitty awaiting a forever home! Meaow This event is combined with other Meetup groups as well as Facebook and WhatsApp groups I organize. The plus RSVPs accounts for other members which are coming from other groups like our main one for ages 21 to 49 with 7,500+ members.
