Empath Connection and Community
A time to connect with other Empaths over coffee or dinner and ask Danielle any questions you may have as well regarding empathic life, the good, the bad and maybe even the ugly. It's meant to be a positive connection time, so if there is something more lengthy that you need to address with Danielle and the group regarding empathic stress or trauma, you can come to the trauma support group every other Monday :-)

What we're about

Are you an empath? This is a place you belong! Literally, we think we have something here for just about any empath out there from free explorative intuition building and activities to foster well-being, free workgroups, free support classes and events, volunteering opportunities, functional excercise classes and nutrition talks and workshops focused on emapthic health, art and music events, and fun member community meetups that you can find belonging and joy in as well as grow and learn. Have you been told you are "too sensitive," "a hypochondriac," or are you the one bawling after a sad movie? Or, on the happier side of things, are you the one who cries "tears of joy" and "shakes with excitement?" "Having empathy means our hearts go out to another person in joy or pain," says Dr. Judith Orloff. "But for empaths, it goes much further. We actually feel others emotions, energy, and physical symptoms in our own bodies, without the usual defenses that most people have."

If this sounds at all familiar to you, know you are certainly not alone. This is a practical, empowering, and loving group that I have created to support empaths through their unique challenges and to help their loved ones gain a better understanding of an empath's needs and gifts. All too many empaths also suffer from secondary conditions, like adrenal fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, other autoimmune disorders and mental illnesses which can make life even more challenging. I highly encourage you to answer the questions when joining this group to build a sense of community with your fellow empaths and myself. I use Dr. Judith Orloff, M.D.'s wonderful materials and teachings to provide definition of what it means to be and live as an empath and strive to offer empaths and their loved ones support through this group including:

Exercises to help you identify your empath type and where you are on the empathy Spectrum.

Tools for protecting yourself from sensory overload, exhaustion, addictions, and compassion fatigue while replenishing your vital energy.

Simple, effective strategies to stop absorbing stress and physical symptoms from others and protect yourself from narcissist and other energy vampires.

How to find the right work that feeds you.

How to navigate Intimate Relationships without feeling overwhelmed.

Guidance for parents and raising empathic children.

Awakening the empath's gift of intuition and deepening your spiritual connection to all living beings.

Specific functional nutrition and exercise advice for being a healthy empath.

Fun events to explore the rich beauty of being an empath, including art and music events. Social gatherings, game nights, pot lucks, nature activities and volunteering opportunities. Free Empath Focused Minfulness and Meditations at Mayu Sanctuary. If you are a sensitive person who's been told to grow a thick skin, here is a group that will support you in seeing and becoming fully open to your unique and true self while you explore your gifts of depth and compassion and gain a feeling of being welcomed and valued by a world that desperately needs what you have to offer it. The world is waiting for you, now is your time! For our latest newsletter with current updates about what we have going on go here:
