Ecstatic Dance - Dance for Peace!

Will you join me to Dance for Peace?!!! Every day and each moment are an opportunity to practice and live peace! Let us magnify this intention by coming together on World Peace Day - Friday, September 21st - to embody and express our intentions for peace...inside and out!! ♥ We can feel it in our bones, know it in our soul, encode it in our cells, and radiate outward from our being!

While you are welcome to join in at any time, I encourage you to do your best to arrive by 7:15 PM so that you can participate in the opening circle, where we will set our intentions & meditate for peace! :)

The details:
Ecstatic Dance is an all ages* evening of free-form, improvisational dance and mindful movement set to a totally awesome musical arch in a friendly, fun, community setting.

No dance experience needed; No steps to learn. Come as you are ~ Move as you wish!

Event flow:
7:00 PM: Doors open and time to settle in/warm-up
7:15 PM: Opening circle / Guided warm up/meditation
~7:30 PM: Free-form dancing begins!
~8:45 PM: Closing circle

Dancing is in bare feet, socks, or shoes depending on your preference. Dress comfortably, preferably in layers, and bring water/a water bottle (water fountain available).

Feel free to dress up and go all out, or dress down and just be. Special items for the community altar are always welcome, as are offerings of live music/singing for opening/closing circle :)

Join us in Fellowship Hall located off of Centre Avenue. FREE off-street parking for a limited number of cars.

*Children 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or older.
