Abstract: Why and How? A Voice-enabled Experience with Amazon Alexa!

Will mouse and monitor (or touch) soon become a thing of the past? Voice as a means of the most innate interface is growing more than ever, and it’s here to stay. But what about the Designer’s and Developer’s challenges? How can they learn to adapt for voice. Sascha does not just discuss these questions. He also shows, in an inspiring and sometimes odd way, how modern interaction and multimodal user interfaces can be integrated using Amazon Alexa.

Bio: Sascha Wolter

Sascha Wolter is senior technology evangelist for Amazon Alexa and as such he helps to shape a language-driven future. As an expert in the planning and implementation of interdisciplinary applications, he is enthusiastic about the user experience and explores improved interaction between man and machine. Since 1995 he has been working as a consultant, lecturer, speaker and author - with a focus on understanding, innovation, business models and benefits. He has also won several awards for his developer and community commitment. In his spare time, he is passionate about mountaineering from hiking to skiing, enjoys good Italian coffee and loves the time together with his children.

Abstract: What's New in Amazon Appstore 2017

He’ll deep dive into the growth of Amazon Appstore, talks about how developers can reach Amazon customers through Amazon Appstore services and Amazon devices like Amazon Fire TV and Amazon Fire Tablets and what are the new opportunities in monetization and discoverability for apps and games developers.
