Presentation by Trend Micro: Simple Security for Amazon S3
Presenter: Jason Dablow - Principle Engineer

The way organizations engage with customers has shifted. Individuals are spending less time browsing physical aisles and talking on the phone and more time on companies’ apps, websites, and social media platforms, digesting and sharing content. With broader data creation, consumption, and sharing, organizations need Amazon S3 and scalable infrastructure more than ever. This requires unique security approaches.

In this talk, you’ll hear from Jason Dablow, the Principle Engineer with Trend Micro, on resources and tips to not only better your S3 security posture, but also easy integration tips to move this implementation left into your teams using infrastructure as code.

Jason Dablow has over twenty-five years of experience in computers and technology industry, with the last twenty focused on security. He has been architecting security solutions for the top global enterprises specializing in accelerating and securing hybrid cloud deployments while supporting digital transformations and DevOps practices. In his free time, he enjoys being on the golf course, hitting the local craft brew house, and relaxing at home with his cats.

Presentation by ScaleSec: Automating AWS IAM Remediation in Python
Presenter: Cody Bench - Cloud Security Consultant

Automating IAM policy remediation is no walk in the park. A security development team must identify the controls to be remediated, build a program that pulls down and parses out the roles and policies, validates the permission and/or trust policies against the necessary controls, performs the required remediation, rebuilds the JSON documents, and then deploys the remediated artifacts per your company’s or client’s workflow.

Cody Bench from ScaleSec will speak on the big challenges and even bigger benefits of automating remediation of IAM roles and policies.

This session is brought to you by AWS Premier Partner, Trend Micro.

There will be a raffle for attendees to win a DJI Mini SE Quadcopter!

Please join us for technical explanations and learning. If you missed Trend Micro at re:Invent you will not want to miss this event. :-)
