What we’re about
This group is specifically for ambitious Black, Brown, Latina, Asian/Pacific Islander, and Native American women who are looking for a community where genuine connections, friendships, personal development and professional networking are all taking place.
If you're shy, introverted, struggle with networking, or have social anxiety come through! Most of our events are small and very approachable. This is also a safe space for BIPOC transgender and non-binary folks. You're welcome here and kindness is big with us.
If you'd like to see more events in Meetup, become an Ambitious Women of Color Association Member today! It's for working professionals and business owners alike. It's a fraction of the cost of a Chamber of Commerce, and benefits include being in our searchable directory, discounts on Association event tickets, hosting events here and being promoted in our Instagram account, and more!
The foundation of our Meetup group is as follows:
1. COMMUNITY AND RELATIONSHIPS
2. FUN AND PLAY
3. PERSONAL, BUSINESS, AND CAREER DEVELOPMENT - Nephresha (founder and organizer) is a Wellness-centered Life, Business, and Career coach who is obsessed with helping her clients and AWOC Association and Meetup Members create lives overflowing with Fulfillment, Love, Health, and Wealth.
