What we're about

If you love anything to do with Egyptian History-- Ancient Egypt, Greco-Roman, Coptic, Medieval, Islamic Egypt, even prehistory-- this group is the place for you! ARCE-DC offers monthly lectures by noted scholars as well as seminars, social events, tours, and museums trips, all focused on Egypt's History and culture, particulatrly Ancient Egypt. Come meet and join others who share the same passion.

ARCE-DC is the largest Chapter of American Research Center in Egypt-- one of 13 Chapters in the United States.

We have talks from September through June each year, usually once a month.

Our talks are free. Come try a few and if you are interested you can become a member of the American Research Center in Egypt and the Washington D.C. Chapter, and help support research on Egypt.
