Amido Presents: User Stories - Vertical vs. Horizontal Slicing

Do you love User Stories? And digital development? Well we’ve got the event for you! The Amido Business Analysts and Quality Assurance teams regularly meet up to discuss ways of working and best practice… and this time we want YOU to join us along with other industry experts (and pizza).

This time, the theme of the evening will look at User Stories, specifically the pros and cons of Vertical vs Horizontal slicing. This has been a hot topic of late and we have designed a workshop to enable us to look at the options around story slicing and present back to the rest of the group around the approach taken and why. The aim isn’t to come away with ‘one true way’, but more to think about the options to help us choose an approach on future projects.

The workshop will be held on Wednesday 20th March at 6pm in Amido’s lovely Shoreditch office and will last a couple of hours. This is your chance to meet the team as well as your industry peers. The event is open to everyone, so you don’t need to be a Business Analyst or QA engineer to get involved. Everyone has something to contribute!
