Welcome to Amitabha Centre in Bristol, an active and flourishing Buddhist community.
Everyone is welcome to drop-in to the centre and enjoy the peaceful and friendly atmosphere.
There is a variety of meditation classes on offer from beginners lunchtime relaxation sessions to in-depth study programmes. The classes cover all aspects of Buddhist thought and meditation and are held in Bristol and throughout the Southwest region.
Whether you're new to meditation and Buddhism or an experienced Buddhist meditator you are welcome to learn more.
Meditation is of value to everyone because it helps us find inner peace, real happiness and contentment and the ability to share it with others; cope with the pressures and stresses of work and modern life; develop mental clarity, concentration and focus; and relate to others in a calm, caring, and constructive manner.
The centre is also home to the World Peace Cafe, relaxing gardens and a small shop.

Acceptance is a powerful, profound and deeply healing mind, when we learn to accept what we cannot change we can let go of what is really binding us to problems and difficulties and find peace.
This course will consist of two sessions:

10:30am – 11:30am
12pm – 1pm

Our cafe will be open for the duration of the course.
This course will be recorded and will be able to view for 7 days after the event.

NEW online only class- Monday morning early birds meditation with Gen Kelsang Lamchen

Wake up and feel good with a relaxing guided morning meditation!

Streamed directly to you from wherever you are, so you can enjoy meditation from the comfort of your bedroom, garden, bus or train commute, or even from your work desk.

Class begins with a relaxed guided breathing meditation, followed by some brief guidance on finding peace in your day.

Class timings: Class lasts just half an hour and is available to view on Mondays between 6am- 8am
