Looking for a fun and creative beginner's workshop to jump start your mosaic journey? This is a 3-hour beginner's course in which we will teach you the basics needed to complete a mosaic project from start to finish, all while you mosaic your unique serving tray which you'll take home with you at the end of the class!

You’ll learn where to search for inspiration for your theme, prepare your tools and materials, and sketch your ideas. We will also show you how to simplify your drawings to make them more suitable to translate onto your tiles. In addition, you’ll learn how to combine and come up with different color palettes to form a cohesive design and cut ceramic tiles in different shapes and forms to create your mosaic piece.

What you’ll get
All tools materials are included in this workshop, including colored tiles, a wooden plank, glue and grout so you will finish the entire project by the end of the class.

Come join us for a 3-hour punch needle workshop and begin your journey into this endlessly fun craft! During the workshop you learn exactly how to punch, stitch by stitch, and we share lots of tips and tricks along the way. We explain various techniques and you get to design your very own pattern which you will then create into a masterpiece under the guidance of our instructors. You can choose to make whatever design you like!

During the class you will learn:
-How to thread a punch needle;
-What kinds of fabrics and yarns you can use in your work
-How to stretch the base fabric over your frame
-Where and how to punch your first stitches
-How to change colors/yarns
-How to change heights of the yarn loops on your design
-How to finish the punch needle work

At the end of the class you will be a punch needle pro, and you'll get to take your masterpiece home to brag to all your friends and family! Our instructors will keep the energy high by providing tea, coffee and snacks during the workshop.

2. A bouquet of flowers

You will learn the 6 most common embroidery stitches while making your chosen design. We will walk you through every line, stitch by stitch, so that you really master the skills and have time to perfect them in the class. You'll leave with a complete design, embroidered totally by you.
