Talks
==First talk: Introduction to Haskell Intellij plugin by Rik Van der Kleij==
When I was learning Haskell I missed the IDE features that I knew from Java and Scala. So I decided to create my own Haskell Intellij plugin. The plugin is still actively developed and adapted to the evolving Haskell ecosystem.
In this talk I will show the main features of the plugin and will explain how the plugin works.
==Second talk: Deploying Haskell to production by Michael Snoyman==
Haskell is most frequently used in some kind of a network service situation, where it needs to be deployed on a remote server with high availability, security, logging, and monitoring.
There are many different ways to achieve these goals. At FP Complete, we deploy lots of Haskell services, and have found sticking to commonly used technologies (like Docker and AWS) plays very nicely.
I’ll be talking about our standard Haskell CI/CD pipeline, and how we conserve our novelty budget for more interesting things.
PS: There is a strict limit of 50 people for the meetup, so please if you plan to attend, RSVP as quickly as possible. Also if you already RSVP'ed and you can't make it anymore, please do not forget to update your RSVP, so as to make your space available for others.
Special thanks also to Darwin Recruitment Amsterdam, who would be helping out with the food and drinks.
