June Photowalk - Stadionbuurt

This edition of the Amsterdam Photo Club Photowalk will take you to the Stadionbuurt. A neighborhood that breaths the history of the 1928 Olympic Games.

We will be circling the area as if it were an athletics track; an oval, following the Noorder- en Zuider Amstelkanaal.

Iconic features of the walk will be the Sportpark Olympiaplein, the Van Heutsz-monument (now Monument Indië-Nederland), Het Amsterdams Lyceum, and of course the Olympic Stadium.

Our starting point (and end point) will be at the Jacob Obrechtplein, at 12:00 hours.

If you arrive with public transport, you can make use of tram 3, 5, 12, and 24 at stop Roelof Hartplein.

The walk will be approximately 6 kilometers long, and a duration of about 2,5 hours.
