ABC Open Mic is the perfect intimate setting for you to share your talents and express your creativity. It's mainly in English, but you can perform in any language.
Everyone gets their 5 MINUTES in the spotlight!
Want to read or perform? Show up from 5pm to sign up for a time slot at the ground floor cash desk.
Luke Nyman is an ABC staff member and a songwriter/producer for himself and others. He founded Songhouse Productions to create commercial music for artists, tv, film & other media, and, as the MIDI Doctor, he helps people with computer and music problems. His music can be found on Lukenyman.com, Spotify, Bandcamp, Youtube & most other digital media outlets.

Welcome to the monthly ABC Open Mic Hybrid Event - it's online and in The American Book Center on the Spui in Amsterdam.
The ABC new season of our ABC Open Mic is with a twist. We're making it a hybrid event! You can join us both online and in the store, to share your song, poetry, story, tap-dance, or any other socially bonding contribution.
ATTENTION! We start at the new earlier time of 5pm CET (as the shop closes at 7pm these days).

Every time it's very interesting and diverse, with people from around the world sharing and talking about their poetry, songs, & prose.
