Not yet! But I had some ideas that I should work and publish soon.
Both! I've built some web apps when I was a developer at the company Dextra Sistemas (in Brazil). I worked there for 3 years and 6 months. Most of these applications had some challenges to me in the development: browser compatibility; interfaces with great usability; dashboards with charts; responsive design; etc. And also, bak-end challenges too, like computing an enormous quantity of documents to search for fraudes, calculating the match between a job opening and a candidate for hiring, displaying videos of user's interest in a small response time, etc. In the last two systems whose development I've had participated, we are using CSS3 (with LESS/SASS) and HTML5, with some JS framework to help on fetching data from server and presenting on the interface. The back-end, usually was built on Java with RestEasy with Spring and Hibernate, and sometimes using Python with Django
