Talk: Magento 2 ... for all of us

Magento 1 has been around for years and is regarded by many as an ugly beast. I couldn't agree more. Since 1.5 years Magento 2 has been out and with that, Magento developers are slowly embracing common modern PHP concepts like Dependency Injection, composer, middleware. How does Magento view the PHP world? And what's in Magento 2 that might be interesting for PHP developers? This talk dives into various technical aspects, with some code, with some bashing to give PHP developers hands-on with Magento 2.

Speaker: Jisse Reitsma

Jisse develops Magento extensions and gives developer trainings with Magento 2. He's part of the Zend Z-Team and was announced Magento Master "Mover" 2017. He also runs Magento usergroups and is on the way to organizing a Magento developer event - MageTestFest - on November 17th.
