Data Science Study Group

We are happy to announce that we will be launching the next Analyze This! Data Science Study Group & Challenge in January 2020!

The Data Science Study Group will meet every Saturday at UMN to work through the popular book, R for Data Science by Hadley Wickham. This will help us build our statistical programming skills.

The challenge portion will help us apply our new skills to a Big Data set so we can solidify our knowledge and gain real-world experience.

We expect this to be a small, self-directed Data Science Study Group with the aim of helping one another stay accountable on our self-learning journey and share our knowledge with the group. Consequently, we will limit this group to between 25-30 members.

We are collaborating with the UMN chapter of SACNAS for this challenge.
