Indoor Worm Composting

Anchorage Parents of Infants, Toddlers, and Young Children
Details
If you have tots and young children this is a super way to teach them about the circle of life and its just plain fun for them too. I have lots of experience with worm composting, I gave lectures and workshops about this stuff for my last job. Its easy to do and they are really hard to kill so its kind of fool proof. Its also a great way to compost in AK since our warm season is so short it can be hard to get a hot compost pile to maturation (we can talk about that too if your interested).
I know where to get the worms and I have a very cost effective way to make worm bins. Nothing like getting your hands dirty with your kids and learning a little something while your at it.
Feel free to ask me questions.
Supplies you must have to participate
2 - 18 gallon Rubbermaid tubs (dark in color)
2 cans of worms from Alaska Mill and Feed I've called and they have plenty $9.95 each

2 cups of sand (optional)
