Crow Pass the day after the race

Details
Since most folks who signed up for this live on the East side of town, let's plan on meeting at the Muldoon Carrs at 8 am as planned to key swap and send a car to each side of the trail. See you on Sunday.
Let's run Crow Pass the day after the race! I have been told that this is the perfect time to do the trail - mid July so everything is green and growing and gorgeous, but also directly after 130 runners go through, so the vegetation is flattened and any remaining snow has a good path cut into it. Plus, we get a trail report in the Alaska Daily News as per the race results, so what's not to like?
For anyone not familiar, Crow Pass Trail is a 22.5 (or so) point to point that is a portion of the historic Iditarod Trail, between the Eagle River Nature Center and the upper Crow Creek Mine area. The trail is rough, often steep (in particular coming north up and over Crow Pass) and involves a challenging crossing of Eagle River itself, no bridge included.
An earlier start usually means a lower river for the crossing, but I imagine that we can sort out details on cars on each end and a start time when we see who signs up. Tentatively, two groups and a key swap might work best?
