Continuing our summer outdoor activities, this month we will take a boat tour of the Merrimack River with Yankee Clipper Tours.
The boat leaves from the back parking lot of The Tap Brewing Company in Haverhill.
If we are not tired of each other after the tour, we can have lunch at the restaurant afterwards.
In the event of inclement weather, the cruise will be cancelled and the operator will offer a refund or credit. Therefore, I am setting a tentative rain date of Sunday, Aug. 24.
Cost: $21.20 per person
Because of the nature of RSVPs in MeetUp and the limited capacity of the boat (33 people), participants are strongly advised to purchase their tickets in advance from the tour company's web site:

From the South:
- Take I-495 to Exit 107 (River St.)
- Turn right at the end of the exit.
- Take River St for 2.0 miles.
- The parking lot driveway is the first right turn after the Comeau Bridge.
- If the lot is full, there is a paid city parking garage just on the other side of the bridge on the same side of the street.
From the North:
- Take I-495 to Exit 109A (Main St. = Rt. 125 South)
- Continue straight at the end of the exit.
- Turn right onto Primrose St. at the traffic light.
- Drive 1.4 miles on Primrose St.
- Turn left onto Winter St.
- Take the 2nd right on Emerson St.
- Turn left at the end onto Washington St.
- The parking lot driveway is the last left turn before
the Comeau Bridge.
- If the lot is full, there is a paid city parking garage
just past the bridge on the same side of the street.
