Talk Details:

-What’s new in Angular 6

Angular version 6 is already out! Come and join us for this talk to learn all about the new features of the framework and improvements in the toolchain support. We will also learn how to upgrade from earlier versions, from version 2 and onwards, and we will have a sneak peek on upcoming features of version 7 that are currently experimental.

--------------------------------------------------------------

-Introduction to Angular & Angular CLI

Angular CLI stands for Angular Command Line Interface. As the name implies, it is a command line tool for creating angular apps. It is recommended to use angular cli for creating angular apps as you don't need to spend time installing and configuring all the required dependencies and wiring everything together.

Presentation will focused on the building of application from scratch, the generation of the basic dependencies, deployment and finally the testing of application. Additionally we’ll see some tips that making the development experience with Angular CLI better & easier.

--------------------------------------------------------------

-Developing a common Angular library: a guide-through on how to design and implement a common components/services angular library, alongside best practices and common pitfalls

As a single or multiple web applications are being developed and scaled, sooner rather than later, the need for a way to organize and reuse code arises. In an Angular environment this component-based software engineering approach can be materialized by a common Angular library, to be shared between the applications.

In this presentation we will explore the process of creating such a library, both in how one can set things up with the latest Angular CLI and, from a more software design perspective, on choosing what to include and what to exclude in the library. We will also discuss how its components' independency and loose coupling can be driven and maintained and, finally, how to implement and deploy such a solution on a delivery driven development environment.
