The web is cool, but sometimes you need to push the boundaries of what you can do on a mobile device. NativeScript and Angular let you build the highly performant native apps you want—with the web technologies you already know and love. With NativeScript you can build truly native apps with Angular, expanding on what’s possible using a “web” framework with native user interfaces, unlimited hardware access, robust animations, and a whole lot more.
In this talk you’ll learn what NativeScript is, how it compares to building with Xcode and Android Studio, and how Angular fits into the picture. You’ll also learn when building native makes sense, and the things that iOS and Android can do that the web can’t. Come learn how to build native apps that your users will love, and that you’ll have fun building.

NativeScript Developer Day is a great place for developers and development managers who are interested in leveraging their or their team’s existing web and JavaScript skillset into building native mobile apps. The event includes a full two days of learning about the NativeScript platform as well as mobile development best practices from the best and brightest in the community. Whether you’re a beginner curious about NativeScript or a seasoned mobile developer, NativeScript Developer Day has speakers and sessions for you.
Day one (Monday) features our keynote as well as “deep dive” sessions into topics such as NativeScript UI components and tooling as well as more general topics like Angular and TypeScript development. Monday evening will include a social event with drinks and hors d'oeuvres where you can meet with the NativeScript team, conference speakers and your fellow developers.
Day two (Tuesday) includes a range of sessions on topics from both the NativeScript team as well as the developer community – everything from testing mobile apps, optimizing performance and improving UX.
