> Description

We’re going to create from scratch a fully working Angular application that uses GraphQL. To make it easier we will use Apollo with Angular integration.

There's no application without data so we will also create a server with GraphQL endpoint. To show the magic and simplicity of GraphQL, we will use features like optimistic UI, query caching and many many more.

> What we will do?

• Creating from scratch full Angular application that uses GraphQL with Apollo

• An overview of GraphQL basics: Schemas, Mutations, Resolvers

• Implementing GraphQL server with multiple databases

• GraphQL server with GraphiQL - in-browser IDE

• Component based structure with dumb and smart components that fetches theirs own data

• Explaining angular2-apollo service

• Using Apollo's caching to improve UX of your application

• Using RxJS with Apollo

• Application based on Angular CLI

• Quick overview of Optimistic UI and many Apollo’s features

> Requirements

The things that you need to enjoy the workshop:

• Basics of Angular 2.0

• Node 4 or higher, together with NPM 3 or higher (Angular CLI requires those)
