And a happy New Year. We're back with the first event of 2020 and, as always, we've got a super special edition prepared for you. For our next meetup, Aaron Frost (Frosty) the creator of Scully, the Angular static site generator, will be joining us virtually through Hangouts. Aaron is one of the founders of HeroDevs, a Google Developer Expert and a prolific OSS contributor. During his presentation, Arron is going to walk us through how to set up Scully for your Angular project and explore many aspects and benefits of using Angular in the JAMstack. After the presentation, we'll also have a Q&A session with Aaron.

And since the launch date of Angular v9 is getting close we've prepared a presentation about the improvements and changes in this new release with a focus on Angular Ivy, the new rendering engine and some awesome patterns and features it will enable.

20:00 - 20:30 - Andrei Antal - Angular Ivy: A sneak-peek into the future of Angular
Angular 9 is launching soon, and the most exciting feature is Ivy, the new rendering engine. In this presentation, we'll have a look at the core principles of the new renderer Ivy, how it compares to it's predecessors and how it will enable smaller and faster Angular applications. We'll also talk about some of the new capabilities it will enable in the future like module-less components, higher-order components, lazy-lading components and many more.
